Due to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CSPIA) these items can not be sold for the use of children age 12 and under.

The CSPIA regulates the amount of lead and pthalates allowed in items that are marketed primarily for children. It mandates that all batches of items be tested for lead and pthalates and will require third party testing in the future.

As these items are all unique, each item comprises a lot. Costs of testing would require adding hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to the item price.

As those prices would be clearly out of line for this product line, we have to insist that these items not be sold for the use of children.
